Vaccines
HPV, Hepatitis A & Hepatitis B Vaccinations
At ManaPlus, we offer a range of private vaccinations to protect against three major viruses that can be sexually transmitted: Human Papillomavirus (HPV), Hepatitis A, and Hepatitis B.
HPV Vaccine: Gardasil 4 and Gardasil 9
We provide two types of HPV vaccines to help protect you against HPV-related infections and conditions, including genital warts and cervical cancer.
-
Gardasil 4 protects against HPV types 6, 11, 16 and 18.
-
Gardasil 9 extends this protection to nine HPV types: 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58.
These strains are linked to most cases of HPV-related cancers (notably cervical cancer from types 16 & 18) and genital warts (from types 6 & 11).
⚠️ Please note: The vaccine will not eliminate existing HPV infections or protect against every high-risk strain. Routine smear tests and HPV screenings are still recommended.
-
Eligibility: Licensed for females aged 9–26, but available privately to anyone.
-
Dosage: Two doses recommended, spaced between 6 to 24 months.
-
Administration site: Given in the upper arm or thigh.
-
Pre-vaccination testing: An HPV test is not required before vaccination but can be arranged if you’d like to check your status.
Hepatitis A Vaccination
Hepatitis A is a viral liver infection that spreads through contaminated food, water, or sexual contact. The vaccine is especially recommended for men who have sex with men or anyone at increased risk.
-
Dosage:
-
First dose provides 1-year protection
-
Second dose (after 6–12 months) extends protection up to 20 years
-
-
Administration site: Injected into the muscle of the upper arm
